According to an article in The Citizen Scientist, which appears to be a publication of the Society for Amature Scientists, a University of Texas professor want 90% of the humans on the planet wiped out. It true, the only thing more disturbing is the lack of objection in the scientific community. Of course, the lack of response to Dr. Eric R. Pianka's outrageous proposal could be attributed to the lack of major media coverage. However, that wouldn't quite explain the standing ovation he received from the scientists present when he made his presentation.
