A Grain of Wheat in Afghanistan?

I noticed a possible example of the sovereignty of God in the case of Abdul Rahman. The afghantimes.com has reported that the ministry of Hussain Andaryas has received an unexpected response because of the persecution of Mr. Rahman:
"In the past 24 hours we have received many emails from Afghans around the world and Afghanistan who are asking, how can I obtain a bible? How can I become Christian? Why Afghan are leaving their religion? what is wrong with changing your religion? etc. etc." Said Hussain Andaryas the editor and producer of the Afghan Christian Radio and Television and Internet Ministries.
It could just be a coincidence, but I doubt it. We, of course, pray for Mr. Rahman's release from prison and safe passage to a place of safety. However, should he lose his life for the sake of his Redeemer, it will not be in vain.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain
of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone;
but if it dies, it bears much fruit." ~
John 12:24

UPDATE:
CNN.com reports that Abdul Rahman, who faced execution in Afghanistan for converting to Christianity, has been granted asylum by Italy.
